How Much Does Botox and Filler Training Cost in Texas? What You Get for $3,000 vs. $9,000

Search for Botox training prices and you’ll find wide, vague ranges. National guides often quote something like $1,500 to $5,000, but they rarely explain what that money actually buys. Two programs at the same price can be very different: one might include six live models and all products, while another puts you in a group with a mannequin.

This guide explains what Botox and filler training tuition usually covers, what Injector Training Academy charges and includes, the costs beyond tuition, and how to compare programs fairly.

What Tuition Usually Includes

Most Botox and filler training programs combine some or all of the following:

What $3,000 buys

The Injector Certification Program is a focused start. You complete a self-paced online course, then spend a hands-on day with one trainer, treating 3 neurotoxin and 3 filler models with products provided. It suits nurses who already have some clinic exposure or a job lined up with mentorship.

What $9,000 buys

The Aesthetic Injector Internship is a complete start. Over 12 weeks you get more than 80 hours of one-on-one training, twice the live models, unlimited shadowing at all nine locations, lifelong mentorship and help with your resume, job search and marketing. It suits nurses starting from zero who want real clinic experience before applying. It does not guarantee a job.

Costs Beyond Tuition

Tuition is only part of the budget. Plan for:

Payment Options

ITA offers several ways to spread the cost:

Approval and terms depend on the financing provider. Contact our team to talk through which option fits your budget.

How to Compare Programs Fairly

Cost per live model

Divide the tuition by the number of live models you personally inject. For ITA’s certification, that’s $3,000 for 6 models. A cheaper program with only 2 models, or with models shared among several students, may cost more per patient you actually treat.

One-on-one vs. group

In a group workshop, several students may share an instructor and take turns on models. In one-on-one training, the instructor watches every injection you make. Ask how many students attend each session and how many injections you personally perform.

Products included or extra?

Some programs charge separately for neurotoxin and filler. Ask whether products are included and how much is used per model.

What happens after training?

Mentorship, shadowing and career help add real value, especially for new injectors. A program that ends when the class ends may cost less but leave you on your own.

Questions to ask every program

Which Option Is Better Value for You?

The right choice depends on where you’re starting:

Whichever you choose, the best value is the training you’ll actually use.

Where to Train in Texas

Training close to home cuts travel costs and time off work. ITA trains across Texas, including Dallas, Fort Worth, Plano, Colleyville, Argyle, Waxahachie, Austin and The Woodlands. Graduates can later add specialty training such as our penile injections training course, Lip Filler Masterclass or PRP injections training.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Botox training cost in Texas?

Prices vary widely by program. At Injector Training Academy, the Injector Certification Program is $3,000 and the 12-week Aesthetic Injector Internship is $9,000. Both include live models and products.

Is more expensive Botox training worth it?

It depends on what’s included. Compare live models, one-on-one time, products, shadowing and support after training, not just the price.

Can I finance Botox training?

Yes. ITA accepts CareCredit and Cherry, and offers an in-house payment plan for the internship.

What costs should I budget for besides tuition?

Time off work, travel, malpractice insurance, a medical director agreement if you practice independently, and future advanced courses.

Your Next Step

Look past the headline price. Count the live models, check what’s included and ask what support you’ll have afterward. Then choose the program that gives you the most real, supervised experience for your budget.
