Who Can Legally Inject Botox in Houston

Texas treats Botox and filler injection as the practice of medicine, and physicians can delegate it to RNs, NPs, and PAs under a written protocol. That framework is why so much cosmetic injecting in this state happens outside physician-only practices, and it comes with conditions that catch people off guard.

The LVN restriction is the compliance mistake we see most often in a market this size. An LVN can’t inject independently in Texas, no matter who’s supervising or what private certificate is on file.
