Who Can Legally Inject Botox in San Antonio

Texas lets physicians delegate Botox and filler injections to RNs, NPs, and PAs under a written protocol, which is why so much of the state’s cosmetic injecting happens outside physician-only settings. That delegation comes with real rules, and they catch people off guard more often than you’d think.

The LVN restriction trips up more South Texas med spas than anything else on this list. An LVN can’t inject independently, even with a physician present, even with a private certificate on file.
