Who Can Legally Inject Botox in Austin

Texas lets physicians delegate Botox and filler injections to RNs, NPs, and PAs under a written protocol, which is why so much of the state’s cosmetic injecting happens outside physician-only settings. The LVN restriction trips up more Central Texas med spas than anything else on this list. An LVN can’t inject independently, even with a physician present, even with a private certificate on file.
