Ready for focused Botox and filler training?
Want substantially more clinical exposure, shadowing and ongoing mentorship?
Why train one-on-one?
Your trainer, your pace
Hands-on training is private and one-on-one, allowing your trainer to focus directly on your technique, questions and clinical decision-making. Instead of following the pace of a group, you can spend your training day working through the areas where you need the most guidance.
Every model is yours
You do not rotate through a large group waiting for an opportunity to inject. During the Certification Program, you personally treat six live models: three neurotoxin and three dermal filler models, giving you direct experience applying what you learned online.
Safety isn't an add-on
Patient assessment and injection safety are integrated throughout the program. Your training covers contraindications, complication management, vascular occlusion recognition and emergency protocols alongside anatomy, treatment planning, product selection and injection techniques.
Support after you finish
Training is one part of building your path in aesthetics. ITA can also connect graduates of the Certification Program and internship with medical director placement through Medical Director Co. Students seeking deeper ongoing support can choose the internship, which includes lifelong mentorship and career-readiness resources.
Who can enroll?
The Injector Certification Program is designed for licensed medical professionals with an active:
- RN license
- NP license
- PA license
- MD license
The Certificate of Completion documents the training you complete through ITA; it does not change your professional license or scope of practice. What you may perform after training depends on your license, state laws, delegation requirements and other applicable rules where you practice.

Part 1 of 2
What you'll learn online
Your online Botox training is the first part of the Injector Certification Program and gives you the clinical foundation you will apply during your private hands-on training day.
The approximately six hours of self-paced lectures and demonstration videos include both beginner and advanced concepts, allowing you to work through the material on your own schedule before moving into hands-on clinical training.
The online curriculum covers
- Facial anatomy and aging
- Treatment planning
- Neurotoxins
- Dermal fillers, including lips, cheeks, chin, jawline, full-face balancing and more
- Product selection and facial assessment
- Contraindication management
- Injection safety and complication management
- Vascular occlusion recognition and emergency protocols
- Clinical pearls, advanced techniques and common beginner mistakes
Part 2 of 2
Your one-on-one hands-on training day
After completing the online portion, you move into a private, one-on-one clinical training day with an experienced trainer.
The day reinforces anatomy, injection techniques, treatment planning, product selection, injection safety, complications and questions that came up during your online coursework. Most importantly, you move from studying these concepts to applying them with live models.
You personally treat three neurotoxin and three dermal filler models. Filler training can include areas such as the lips, cheeks, chin, jawline and full-face balancing. Your trainer is beside you throughout the treatments to provide direct instruction and feedback.
ITA provides the live models, neurotoxin and filler products, supplies and equipment required for your training.
Complication prevention and patient safety
Technical injection skills are only one part of responsible aesthetic practice. The program also addresses patient assessment and safety considerations relevant to neurotoxin and dermal filler treatments.
Your education covers contraindication management, injection safety, complication management, vascular occlusion recognition and emergency protocols. These topics are introduced through the online curriculum and reinforced as part of hands-on clinical training so safety remains connected to assessment, treatment planning and injection technique.
Certificate of Completion
After completing both the online and hands-on components, you receive an official Certificate of Completion recognizing your training through the Injector Certification Program. The certificate can document completed training for employers and insurers, but it is not a professional license and does not expand your scope of practice.
ITA’s programs do not currently award CE or CME credits.

Medical director placement
Support beyond training
Graduating from an injector training program does not automatically give you independent authority to practice. Depending on your license and state requirements, appropriate physician delegation and supervision may be required.
Medical Director Co.
Graduates of both the Injector Certification Program and Aesthetic Injector Internship can access medical director placement support through Medical Director Co.
Priority placement for graduates
ITA graduates receive priority placement assistance, helping connect qualified professionals with medical director resources as they take their next steps after training.
Know your scope
Medical director placement does not change your license or scope of practice. You remain responsible for practicing within applicable state laws, licensing requirements, delegation rules and professional standards.
Everything you need after training
Once you’ve completed your training, our partner companies can help with the operational side of an injectables practice: medical director placement, product, good faith exams and charting software.
These companies are part of the DeWitt Health family, like Injector Training Academy, and their services are separate from tuition. One ITA representative can help you set everything up and apply any available graduate discounts.
Meet your trainers
ITA’s hands-on education is delivered one-on-one by experienced trainers, allowing students to receive direct instruction during clinical practice rather than rotating between multiple students.
